This study focuses on the impact of organizational trust and justice on turnover intention among Korean public servants since little researches have paid attention on those factors in the research of turnover in public sector. Based on the theoretical review and previous researches, this study develops the causal model on turnover intention including organizational trust and justice. To test the model, structural equation model is applied to collected data from a questionnaire survey. The result shows that both organizational trust and justice have no direct effect on turnover intention. They, however, have indirect effect on turnover intention through organizational commitment as an intermediate variable. Specifically, organizational trust including affective and cognitive trust rather than organizational justice has stronger effect on turnover intention. As a result, public organizations should try to improve organizational trust for effective management. |
